A Summer Night Fling by Raine Delight

Coming in June, Raine Delight is pleased to announce her first M/M Story will be out in an anthology called Hot Summer Fun

My story is called A Summer Night Fling and features two people trying to trust that their hearts are leading them right.

It will be available in print and in e-book.

Cal Larson wasn’t expecting to find a hot sexy man stuck in a tree as he took his morning walk in the woods. When he meets Alex, sparks fly and these two will find that love is waiting to claim them. Except Alex has a secret…one that may bring danger to Cal’s doorstep. Can Cal find it in his heart to accept Alex and let this summer fling turn into something much more?

A Teaser Snippit

Three months earlier….
Cal Larson walked into his house and knew something was different. The feeling of peace, of home escaped him that moment. As he tried to figure out what it was, he tossed his coat over the stair railing and asked, “Hey, Mal, you around?” Silence seemed to be the answer even as he walked across the foyer to the living room, searching for his lover of five years. Spying no one in the room, he moved deeper into the house, his heart starting to pound and an uneasy feeling making his stomach churn. Opening the kitchen door and seeing nothing, he made his way back to the stair well and walked up to the master bedroom. Hoping that Malcolm was in the shower, he walked into the room and stopped short. Drawers were open, clothes scattered and no Malcolm.
He ran over to the closet and saw the emptiness where his lover’s clothes should have been. The suitcases they used on trips were gone and with a heavy heart he sat down on the bed, anguish running through his soul.
“What the heck happened?” Cal asked himself as he turned to see the destruction of the room he had many wonderful memories of. Of Malcolm coming towards him, naked after a shower, smelling all manly and all he needed to do was touch him and he was lost.
Hearing a crinkle of paper, he turned and spied a piece of crumpled paper stuck in the sheets of the bed. Smoothing it out as best he could, he saw it was from Malcolm.
Dear Cal,
By now you know I am gone. I can’t do this anymore. I have fallen out of love with you and moved on. I am sorry for this but hope you can forgive me eventually.
My best,
Malcolm Winters
Blinking with shock, Cal stared at the paper in disbelief. His lover decided to leave…without even saying goodbye or offer an explanation at that. He leaves a ‘Dear John’ letter and wipes his hands of five years of being a couple, loving one another and the support from Cal as Malcolm pursued his dream of being an architect. “Well god damn me to hell and back, “ Cal swore as he stood up and walked out of the room, never glancing back as the letter slowly fell to the ground.

Trucker Fucker 2 by Barry Lowe

Jez is back behind the wheel of his rig, self-conscious he’s sampled the oral expertise of his court appointed problem feral, Atom. He’s having second thoughts about his involvement with the very twink he’s supposed to mentor, putting himself through hell over their relationship especially after Atom helps him out of a tight spot with the highway patrol. When the two of them are thrown into jail by corrupt cops in the next town it looks as if even Atom’s skills won’t help them this time.

Excerpt

We were back on the road again. Atom was so buzzed that I wondered whether he got off on the violence at the stopover or whether he’d taken something when he was out of my sight. Maybe both. He’d been very quiet but could scarcely sit still for the first fifteen to twenty minutes of our onward journey.
Finally, he turned to me. “Sorry, Jez. Didn’t mean to get you involved in all that trouble back there.”
I snorted. “No apologies necessary. I got the best knob polish ever as a result.”
“Yeah, about that,” he added. “I didn’t mean to force myself on you. I know you’re a pussy sorta guy.”
To stop him wallowing in guilt, I said, “Maybe after tonight’s experience I might defect to the other side for the occasional blow job.”
His face lit up. “Really? I was that good?”
I leaned across and ruffled his hair. “Don’t let it go to your head, son.”
“You’ve got a nice cock, Jez. I’d really like to feel it in my ass some time.”
“In your dreams, mate. Not gonna happen.”
Sure, I was willing to overlook the fact it was a dude hanging off my shaft on the odd occasion I was so horny it didn’t matter, but sink my tackle in his shit hole. Uh huh.
Atom just smiled. “I’ve got a week shy of six months to get you to change your mind. Wanna make a bet on it?”
“You’d just be losing the shirt off your back, that’s how adamant I am.”
“And I reckon you’ll give in before the time is up.”
Smug bastard. I know my cock inside out and no way was it gonna get hard for boy cunt.
“You got a bet, Atom,” I said at last. “No drugs, no getting me drunk, no underhanded tricks.”
“I won’t need ’em.”
“Cocky little prick.”
“So, what’s the bet?”
“Hundred bucks?”
“Jeez, you don’t have much confidence that you’ll be able to withstand my obvious charms.” So saying, Atom slipped his shorts down over his butt and placed his feet on the dash so he could finger his ass.
I looked across and I must confess the sight of his finger penetrating his sphincter did have a certain allure but I bypassed the erection cortex of my brain and the potential for penile excitement ended up down a dead end. Shit, that was close. But I knew I had the willpower.

Beach Balls by Tara Lain

Adam James is so far in the closet he could find Narnia. But coming out would threaten all he's built as the attorney for the homophobic WMA Development, and the million-dollar paycheck waiting for him once they push their big land development deal through the city council. Then, on an early morning scuba dive, Adam meets a tall, lean rebreather diver named Sky who makes him want to live a different life.

Sky Sea Mickeljohn doesn't compromise. He knows what he stands for and stands for it openly: the environment, world peace, and being gay. So how could he find himself lusting after a damned developer? Especially the one working on the WMA land development deal, which would put thousands of people at risk by developing a toxic waste site they have neither the capital nor the know-how to clean up? And worse, what's going to happen when someone opens Adam's closet door?

Available  from Amazon, ARe  B&N

Movement. Was that a diver? Adam swam toward the wavering outline. No bubbles. Couldn’t be a diver. A shark? Excited, he swam closer. It was a person. The diver’s wetsuited back was to Adam. The tall, lanky guy seemed to be studying something closely.
How the hell did he get around so freely? His tanks were small, light. Rebreather tanks probably. That system reused the exhaled oxygen and scrubbed the carbon dioxide. Rebreathers didn’t need such big tanks because nothing was wasted. And no bubbles. Adam had never seen a rebreather rig up close. Not a lot of sports divers used them.
Who was this guy? He might as well be standing in his backyard he looked so at home. And what was he doing?
Adam floated a little closer. He caught his breath. Ah, an octopus. The guy was looking at an octopus. Maybe better to say he was kind of dancing with it. The octopus still had a few of its arms inside a hole in some coral but the rest were waving from side to side. Kind of like it appreciated the guy but was telling him not to come too close.
OK, Adam was losing it. Anthropomorphizing an octopus.
He wanted to see better. His bubbles flowed upward as he swam closer. The other diver turned,  his movements languid. His hand rose up toward Adam, warning him off.
Well hell, it wasn’t his octopus. Adam swam to the right, and the guy blocked him. Asshole. Adam rushed to the right again and got around him just in time to see…the octopus pull back into its hole and disappear. Shit!
He turned toward the guy. Hell, all he’d wanted to do was see the fucking octopus. He put his hands on his hips trying to show his pissoffness. The guy shook his head and waved his arms at Adam. Double asshole. Adam turned back toward the hole where the creature had vanished. Maybe he could get the critter to come back out. He swam forward.
A hard hand grabbed his arm. Damn.Who did this guy think he was? Adam whirled as ferociously as the ocean, a mask, regulator, and two huge tanks would allow, and the other diver backed off with his hands up. Adam frowned and then realized how stupid that was. The man couldn’t see his expression. The octopus was completely invisible, so there wasn’t much going on. Adam wouldn’t get in an underwater fist-fight over a vanished cephalopod.
The other diver was still watching Adam closely.
Shit, he was done. No octopus. No peace. He might as well go back to Carly’s and have sex. With a push of his foot, he swam toward the surface.
A half hour later, he lay on the sand still annoyed about the asshole and the octopus. Why had the guy been like that? They could have shared the creature.
Oh, well. He should go back inside and get another hit of Gary, but it felt good just lying on the sand. He’d purposefully chosen a stretch of beach without many kids. Less noise, but still close to Carly’s.
He raised himself onto an elbow. Everyone else would be up by now. Way up. Maybe he’d see who he could find. If he was honest, Gary was almost too much of a good thing. The guy swore he wouldn’t care or be jealous. Of course, Adam had heard that before. He glanced over at the kayak full of Carly’s scuba gear. Might as well get to it…
And there he was. Rising from the sea like some merman. Not a bubble. Not a ripple. The diver just appeared, manifested by Neptune. Was he the octopus guy? He had to be. A tall, slim figure strode through the shallow water navigating the surf like it wasn’t there. Like it couldn’t drag him down and out to sea.
He stopped at the waterline and pulled off the tanks, unfastened the hood of his wetsuit and shoved it back, then shook his head like a dog and fluffed out light brown curls that surrounded his head like a halo.
Perfect, because from this distance the guy’s face looked totally like an angel. Wide eyes, full lips, and high cheekbones that gave him a slightly hollow-cheeked look.
He walked a few more steps and dropped the rig then dragged down the wetsuit, revealing a long, lean body, thin but well-muscled like a long-distance runner. He must spend a lot of time in the sun if he was a diver, but his skin was only a pale tan. Man, under his bathing suit he would be alabaster. What else was under that bathing suit?
The diver was so mesmerizing Adam forgot to be pissed. The guy started to gather up his stuff. Adam jumped up. “Excuse me.”
The angel face turned toward him. Neutral. Maybe he didn’t recognize him from the underwater encounter.
Adam took a couple steps toward him. “Hey, I’m the guy you chased off the octopus down there. I know you got there first and all, but hell, all I wanted to do was see the thing. You didn’t have to make a huge deal out of it.”
A crease appeared between the arched eyebrows. “Your bubbles. They were bothering her. I had been coaxing her out for over an hour and then you came barging in like some hippopotamus.” The guy picked up his tanks and started walking.
“Wait!”
Angelface stopped and looked back.
OK, why had Adam stopped him? What did he want? “I’m, uh, sorry. I didn’t realize. I just saw the thing and really wanted a better look.”
“There’s a nice aquarium in Long Beach.”

About the book

Having lived a life of ease in the heavens, Adonis had done well keeping a low profile and staying out of trouble.
But jealous Hera, whose wrath had come down on every half-mortal-half-god on Mount Olympus and earth, finally had him in her sites. She ordered Adonis to find a mortal woman to marry and mate, spreading his seed. Adonis had to accomplish this feat in two weeks, or…pay the consequences. And with someone as volatile as Hera, he knew it was no idle threat. She had saddled him with wings, merely to make his feat even more challenging.
The only problem was…Adonis loved men, not women.
Reese Anderson is a writer of erotic gay porn. Though he lives his life in his fantasy land, pumping out a plethora of novels per year, Reese doesn’t have good luck with men. They come…and they go.
One day on the beach in LA, Reese spots a man with wings and thinks he is seeing an angel of his death. Though he panics and the man flees, Reese returns to that beach to find that mysterious man, one who is desire incarnate.
Little does Reese know that his life is on a collision course with the gods of Greek Mythology as he finds himself in love with an Adonis. The Adonis. And Adonis soon becomes the star of Hollywood, and the ‘Adonis of WeHo’.

Where Nerves End by L.A. Witt

Coming June 3, 2012

Welcome to Tucker Springs, Colorado. Population, 70-something-thousand. Home to beautiful mountain views, two respected universities, and a ridiculously high cost of living.
Jason Davis can handle a breakup. And an overwhelming mortgage. And a struggling business. And the excruciating pain that keeps him up at night, thanks to a shoulder injury. But handling all of it at once? No, not so much. When his shoulder finally pushes him to a breaking point, Jason takes a friend’s advice and gives acupuncture a try.
Acupuncturist Michael Whitman is a single dad struggling to make ends meet. When a mutual friend refers Jason as a patient, and Jason suggests a roommate arrangement to alleviate their respective financial strains, Michael jumps at the opportunity.
But for Jason, living together would be easy if he wasn’t so damned attracted to Michael. The temptation to act on his feelings might just be too much if not for the fact that Michael is straight. Or at least, that’s what their mutual friend claims...

Excerpt From: More Than Pride

Dillon sat on the back porch enjoying the cool evening breeze with a cold Mason jar of sun tea in his hand. He yawned, tired after his long day of helping clear out the west garden for spring planting. He generally didn't mind pitching in—a pride was only as strong as its weakest member and Dillon had decided long ago that he wouldn't be the weakest. He might have been born the runt of the litter but time dedicated to building up his body and a late growth spurt had helped him rise to the second strongest of the pride. Now only the alpha pair was stronger than him...and Adrian didn't really count because Dillon had met few people as vicious as Talan's sweet wolf mate.
Sighing, Dillon pushed at the deck with his foot, sending the wooden swing tilting higher.
His life should've been just about fucking perfect. He had a good job as overseer of the pride's work teams and sometimes as a representative for their alpha. Talan trusted him to negotiate treaties and represent him when he couldn't get away. Why, then, did he feel hollow inside? The last few days it had taken effort to even drag himself out of bed. Nothing seemed to bring him joy anymore. Not even the cubs running around the house could bring out his usual smile. Now that both Kevin and Talan had mates, he longed for one of his own.
A sigh ripped through his chest. None of the local lions appealed to him, and although he'd started to take a look at Adrian's pack for potential mates, he hadn't found a wolf partner who appealed to him either. Was it too much to hope to find one perfect man? Hell, he'd even take a woman if she made his heart beat faster.
"Meow."
The tiny sound caught Dillon's attention. He stopped the sway of the swing to peer into the darkness. A large tabby cat pranced through the high grasses, attacking dandelions as he crossed the field.
Walk. Walk. Pounce.
The animal followed that pattern over and over as it approached. Dozens of hapless dandelions lost their fluff as it moved closer.
"Hey there, little fella," Dillon said, keeping his voice low and soothing. What a cute cat. However, Dillon needed to get the small creature off the pride lands before he became a lion snack. "Come here," he cooed to the pretty cat.
An owl's screech made the hairs on the back of Dillon's neck stand up straight. He leapt off the porch and ran towards the tabby as a great horned owl launched off a nearby tree. The bird zeroed in on the cat, and, before Dillon's horrified gaze, swooped down and grabbed the feline in its claws.
"No!" Dillon screamed. He scooped up a rock off the ground and threw it at the bird. His stone hit its mark, striking the avian on the wing.
The owl screeched, releasing its grip on the small animal. To Dillon's surprise, the tabby flipped midair and transformed. Fur changed to smooth, muscled skin and red—gold hair flowed across a well—shaped skull. Instead of a fluffy cat, a naked man landed on his feet in the grass. The cat shifter crouched down like a feral creature afraid to be out in the wide open. His brilliant hair shone in the moonlight and even in human form the man's eyes shimmered reflectively.
Another cry came from the owl. It landed several feet away and transformed into a tall muscular man with brown and white speckled hair. Bruises covered him from face to torso. His ribs stood out in sharp relief against his battered mocha-coloured skin.
The owl man swayed for a moment before his eyes rolled up into the back of his head and he collapsed onto the ground.
Why the hell were a cat and an owl intruding on lion land? Concern for the injured shifter had Dillon moving towards the avian first.
"I hope you two have a good reason for being on our land. I'd hate to have to kill you," Dillon muttered as he reached the owl shifter's side.
